On the go in Center City? Where is the best coffee shop in walking distance to you right now?
With a focus on Philadelphians walking about in the heart of the city, this apps helps you locate many of the finest independent coffee shops in Center City, serving specialty coffee roasted by some of the best artisan roasters in Philly.
The cafes have been curated from popular food guides (e.g., Zagat, Philly Eater, VisitPhilly, Philly Magazine, UWISHUNU) and respected coffee connoisseurs.
Each cafe location in the app includes info for:
- getting directions from your current location to the cafe,
- learning more about the cafe via its official website,
- getting the current hours of operation,
- or viewing a pic of each cafe
You can also quickly sort by what locations:
- are considered the best of the best via the "Top Rated" sort option
- are open late (i.e., cafes open until 8pm or later),
- or have free WiFi.
Coffee in Philly also includes an "Espresso Cheat Sheet," which can be used as a quick reference for remembering popular espresso drinks.
